Welcome to my personal blog / website.  The purpose is to provide a clear description of what I do and share a few learnings along the way.  My intent on how to share the learnings will be to treat as a startup diary for a particular project – clearly some things will be left opaque until later, but much of the flow and process will be reasonable.

So some background on myself,  I’m a deep(er) tech entrepreneur, advisor, and occasional investor with a wife and two grown and married children.  I currently advise a number of startups directly and through a couple incubator programs including companies tied to Innovation Crossroads @ Oak Ridge National Lab, EIR @ Yale University, ISU Startup Factory, and a couple other Universities.  The company that I’ll be posting about is independent of these activities.

Over the past few decades, I’ve lived in five states, drove six private companies as CEO (3 successful exits and the ones that didn’t exit achieved 300% CAGR, 54% CAGR, Stalled).  Also provided interim turn-around / crisis CXO leadership as well as advisor assistance to quite a few more companies (6 had reasonably successful exits, more had funding rounds / growth / still going).
